9 Days Conceptions

The 9 days conceptions is a visual expression (and variation) on Nietzsche’s idea of the Eternal Recurrence and Amor Fati. It explores my own ideas of Greater Life and Ascending Memory.

Using various permutations within a set system, where action and creation are the eternal force and building mechanism within a finite parameter. (Viz. Set parameter of 5 base images @1000x1000px each) I wanted to demonstrate the creative power and responsibility that we have for the cultivation (life) or neglect (death) of the world.

Each piece of artwork being an expression of a day; I used “9 days” as a reference to the Genesis creation myth of the world, as the theme explores the idea of being responsible for the continued creation of our own myth and story.
